SA105 - Tight Knit Circles

Saturday, May 22nd 2021 One day

From 8:00 am to 11:00 am

Faculty: Debby Kratovil

Fee $65.00

Class Type: Domestic Machine Work

Skill Level: Beginner - Intermediate

Description: Learn two methods of machine appliqué in this small and colorful quilt (17" x 17") with a modern appeal. It is based on the vintage Roses of Picardy pattern. The interlocking circles are interfaced and turned for a smooth curved edge. The free-form cut wavy borders utilize fusible interfacing to stabilize their raw edges. All stitching is by machine ONLY and you will be delighted to see how fast, fun and easy these two techniques are. Choose your own colors. Bring your own fabrics. I will have several other samples of how I’ve used the curvy borders for other quilts. PDF pattern is supplied free to registered Zoom class students (the day before).

Kit: No kit. Pattern will be sent ahead of time for registered students (free).
